Göteborgs Posten december 1976

Hittade detta hemma, är från Gothenburg 1000 1976 ur GP för 35 år sedan. Detta var första gången jag hörde talas om VM i Göteborg, och snart efter tror jag att dom små dekalerna kom ut med Vm på.
Tävlingen vann Lelle Granström på 483 varv före Bjarne Lilliendahl 478 varv, trea var Jan Ekman 475 varv fyra Olle Söderholm, femma Ted Ljungkrantz(som vann 1975 och 1977) på sjätte plats bäste utlänning Bert v.d Heyden från Holland, sjua blev Axel Pomeranz körande för Frankrike och på sista plats i finalen kom Karosslackaren Anders Lindholm av dom 41 startande detta året.
Bland debutanterna vann Hans Nyberg och vi så även en tjej vi namn Mia von Matern komma femma.

Besiktningsmannen från GO-69, Lloyd Hjärt som besiktar Axel Pomeranz bil inför finalen på Tynnereds kingen.

Results from CH in the first Worlds 1978, H-P Sutter was 6th, Peter Caprez 47th, Daniel Rachez 68th, Marcel Vock 69th, Hugo Fasel 90th, Uve Bock 98th of 125 entries.

We're in the middle of G27 semis, finals are coming up soon! Stay tuned for results! Sillen said something yesterday about slotracing being a sport for guys. He was getting dressed at the track, took his tshirt off and I said something like "God, my eyes are bleeding!" on which he replied "Suit yourself, when you're into slotracing - it's for guys" Haha.
Well, if that's the case ...

After the G27 race we'll have the annual toast with champange, the big BBQ will be tomorrow instead.
Me and the sisters are waiting for the Yankee (Andy) to show up so we can continue on with a tradition we started last year - Our very own mini-bbq with marshmallows. Now we're talkin!
